"The Cottage", the former farmhouse is a detached cottage that has been renovated and tastefully decorated throughout. It features stone walls with solid oak beams, and retains all its old charm and character. Clients staying in "La Ferme" enjoy their own wisteria shaded patio, terrace and garden area with patio furniture and own barbeque. Linen and towels are provided.
The accommodation comprises:
A large farmhouse style open salon and kitchen (35 square metres) with modern storage units; gas cooker, family size fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, dishwasher and coffee maker. There is a log burning stove set into the original fireplace and an electric convector heater. The lounge contains three sofas. Domestic hot water is supplied from a large capacity electric storage cylinder. A television set (GB channels) with Video and DVD player is available for evening indoors entertainment.
There is an outside area with table and chairs as well as patio furniture for alfresco dining. A doorway leads from this open plan area to the downstairs double bedroom with its adjacent "snug" small sitting room. The shower room with toilet and wash hand basin is virtually en suite for the downstairs bedroom. There is also a french door out of the "snug" leading onto the terrace area and open terrain boules piste at the side of the cottage.
Up the stairs (fairly steep) there is a large open plan style bedroom area, which is divided into 2 separate and distinct sleeping areas by a small landing and a bathroom which is fitted with a large shower, wash basin, bidet and W.C. Passing under a low beam to the right is a double bed and similarily to the left side there is a large sleeping area equipped with 3 single beds and a double. In total, the cottage will sleep up to 8 people ( 4 adult 4 children ideally). Pets are welcome.
All bedrooms are equipped with wardrobes and chests of drawers, bedside lamps and hair dryer. A cot and stair gates are also available in the cottage.
